Obituary of James Stephen Davenport
James Stephen "Steve" Davenport, 66, of Glasgow, formerly of Mercer County, died June 11, 2019, in Glasgow.
He was the son of the late James Donald and Helen Ford Davenport. He was a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Steve was former employee of New Farmers National Bank, a partner in Bishop, Stone and Davenport Insurance Agency and was a stockbroker for several years. He was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church.
Survivors include children: Ann Thomas (Ryan) Moffett, and Jimmy Davenport, grandchildren: Nathaniel and Simone Moffett and a sister: Linda Russell, a niece and nephew: Kate Clevenger and John Russell.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 20, at Spring Hill Cemetery, with Reverend Eridie Carter officiating.
