Obituary of Ray Edward Votaw
Ray Edward Votaw, 87, Harrodsburg, husband of Gladys Harmon Votaw, died Monday, July 15, 2019, Bardstown, KY. Born October 10, 1931, in Morehead, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Hazel (Vandivier) Votaw. Ray was a retired Dairyman Inc. Supervisor and was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Gloria (Billy) Eldridge of Harrodsburg, and Paula Ray Votaw of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Dorothy (Wayne) Reeser, Oldham Co., Jill (Dan) McKenzie of Paris, KY and Patricia (David) Baker of Harrodsburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sat., July 20, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by William "Bill" Eldridge. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 10 AM until the hour of service Saturday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Billy Ray Eldridge, Johnny Lee Eldridge, Adam, Andrew & Alex McKenzie and Troy Lands.
