Obituary of Barbara Gayle Hodge
Barbara Gayle Hodge, 69, Harrodsburg, widow of Charles Kenneth Hodge, died Thursday, August 1, 2019, at The Willows at Harrodsburg. Born January 15, 1950, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Paige A. and Loamie Alice (Claunch) Lewis.
Survivors include: four daughters: Rhonda Gayle (Wayne) Ramsey of Lancaster, KY, Faith (Patrick) Fillbrunn of FL, Lisa (Jerry) Rutherford of Lincoln County, KY and Debbie (Jim) Brummett of Garrard County, KY, and two sons: Bobby Lee (Ashley) Hodge of Harrodsburg, KY and Kenny Hodge of Danville, KY; one sister: Linda Watts of Harrodsburg, KY and Brothers, Charles, Tony, & Pagie Lewis, and Kenneth Whiteside, all of Harrodsburg, KY; sixteen grandchildren, including Dwayne and Joseph Edwards and Ashley Carr; twenty-one great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by six siblings, Glenn, Buford, and Melvin Bruce Lewis, Elizabeth Hayslett, Opal French, and Florence Devine, and two step grandchildren, Timothy Hodge and Jerry Rutherford.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday, Aug. 5, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by George Dye. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 10 AM until the hour of service on Monday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Wayne Ramsey, Dwayne, Joseph & Tyler Edwards, Billy Carr and Jimmy Walton.
