Obituary of James Oliver Wilson
James Oliver Wilson, 66, husband of Darlene Watts Wilson, died Mon., Aug. 5, 2019 at the EMRMC, Danville.
Born Feb. 4, 1953 in Liberty, KY, he was the son of the late Walter Harrison and Eula Mae (Thomas) Wilson. He was a retired Corrections Officer for North Point Training Center, Army Veteran of Desert Storm, and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Liberty.
Survivors other than his wife include: one sister, Brenda Joyce Jenkins, Smyrna, TN; two brothers: Gene (Phyllis) Wilson of Elcorn, KY and Randy Wilson of Liberty, KY. Several Nieces and Nephews: Brandon Wilson, Veleera Bright, Kevin Jenkins, Jessica Byrd, Rob Wilson, Crystal Madden, Pam Wilson, Tyler Watts, Daniel Holifield and Jeremy Wilson.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thurs., Ransdell's.
Memorials are suggested to the Boyle Co. Humane Society.
