Obituary of Naomi Fern Pittman
Naomi Fern Pittman, 90, Salvisa, died Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at Harrodsburg Health & Rehabilitation Born May 26, 1929, in Scott County, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick William Honerkamp and the late Maurice (Marshall) Mller. She was the widow of Herbert Ransdell and Charles Wm. Pittman. Naomi was a member of the Ebenezer Church of Christ, attended Hopewell Baptist Church, was a KY Colonel, and had been a member of the Ebenezer Homemakers for 50 years.
Survivors include: one daughter, Vicki (Bobby) Walters of San Antonio, TX; one son, William "Bill" Earl Ransdell of Salvisa; one brother. William Henry (Judy) Honerkamp of Lexington; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Miller, Libby Ransdell, Robin (Cliff) Iler, Paige (Bruce) Osbourn, and Seth Walters; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Burton.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon Sat., Aug. 17, 2019, at the Hopewell Baptist Church by Doug Wesley and Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, with Kenny Speaks officiating. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Friday at Hopewell Baptist Church, Harrodsburg.
Pallbearers: Mark Miller, Cliff Iler, Bruce Osbourn, Seth Walters, Jimmy Long and Bobby Ross.
