Obituary of Nora Jean Vandivier
Nora Jean Vandivier, 83, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Bobby G. Vandivier, died Tuesday at the Ephraim McDowell - James B Haggin Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born September 12,1935, in Danville, to the late Marvin Collins and the late Frances (Hazelwood) Underwood.
Nora Jean retired as the clerk for Dr. Dedman's office and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
She is survived by: a daughter, Kimberly (Donald) Herring, Harrodsburg; a son, Darron (Ellie) Vandivier, Harrodsburg; two brothers: M.C. Underwood Jr of FL and Mike (Lori) Underwood of IN; two grandchildren, Emily (Bobby) Vandiver and Noah Vandivier.
Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM, Friday, August 30, 2019 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Gaye Haralu. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
Visitation will be 5-8 PM, Thursday, August 29, 2019, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Noah Vandivier, Bobby Vandiver, Darrell Ellis, Jimmie Ellis, Robert Logue, Devin Underwood. Honorary bearers: Larry Underwood, Travis Underwood, Donald Herring, Carter Logue.
