Obituary of Renwick Preston

Renwick Preston, 67, went to be with the Lord whom he loved, August 23, 2019 at his home in Houston, Texas. Born October 22, 1951, in Harrodsburg, KY, he was the son of Vena Sheperson Preston and the late Harold Preston.

Survivors include three sisters: Debbie (Alex) Poulter of Lexington; Becky (Danny) Chapman of Louisville; Cindy (Daryl) Hampton of Houston, TX; two brothers: Jon (Linda) Preston of Sugarland, TX, and Dave (Jane) Preston of the Woodlands, TX and several loving nieces and nephews.

When his country called, he joined the United States Air Force. He worked as a Control System Specialist for S&B Engineering in Houston, TX.

Visitation will be at Ransdell Funeral Chapel on Saturday, September 7, 2019 from 1-3pm, immediately followed by the funeral, officiated by Frank Preston with eulogies by Jon and David Preston.  Committal will follow at the Ebenezer Cemetery, Slavisa, KY.

Honorary Bearers will be R. Alex Poulter, Brad Hampton, Chase Hampton, Danny Chapman II, Blake Hampton, David Preston, Jon Chapman, Spencer Poulter, Keith Preston, Travis Preston, Graham Preston, Jessica Rice, Laura Guerrero, Megan Karlsen, Lydia Kheir and Bethany Poulter.
