Obituary of Donald Green
Donald Green, 78, Salvisa, KY, husband of Mary Ann Gritton Green, died Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born April 7, 1941, in Woodford County, he was the son of the late William Aubrey and Marjorie (Dotson) Green. He was a retired Sylvania employee and had operated a Dairy Farm. Donald was a member of the Salvisa Methodist Church.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Angela (Mike) Baxter of Harrodsburg, and Julie (Bobby) Turner of Salvisa; three sisters, Betty Royalty of Lexington, Lois (Tommy) Logue of Harrodsburg, and Patty Green of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Wayne (Linda) Green of Harrodsburg, and Frank (Delores) Green of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Cody Phillips and Jacob Turner; one great grandson, James Michael Phillips. He was prededed in death by a sister, Gaye Brock.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Green and Jane Shoemaker. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 10 AM - 1 PM Friday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Bobby Turner, Cody Philips, Mike Baxter, Jacob Turner, Danny Brock, Anthony Godby, Dale Cinnamon, and Keith Miller. Honorary bearers are: Wesley Peyton, Louis Sea, David Cinnamon, Carl Lamb, Bobby Lewis, Otis Knox, Tommy Logue, and Johnny Brown.
