Obituary of James H. Benham
James H. Benham, 70, Harrodsburg, husband of Bernadine Nally Benham, died Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the Ephraim McDowell - James B Haggin Hospital, Harrodsburg. Born May 20, 1949, in Marion Co., he was the son of the late Robert and Hazel Dorothy (Sagracy) Benham. He was retired farmer and was a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Melissa Renee (Billy Robinson) Britton of Harrodsburg; three sons, James Daniel (Deeann) Benham, Christopher Dale Benham, and Joeseph Leon (Wendy) Benham, all of Harrodsburg; one sister, Linda Faye Settles of Harrodsburg; eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by John McDaniel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Thursday at Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Cody Dale Britton, Glenn Allen Settles, Hanley McMullin, Kevin Nally, John B. Elliott, and Terry Nally. Honorary bearers: Chris, Tyler, & Brandy Benham, Melissa & Charles James Britton, Leon, Wendy, and Lily Benham, James Daniel & Deeann Benham, Elizabeth & Alexia Benham and Greg Britton.
