Louella Coker, 81, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Samuel "Bud" Coker, died Friday at the Danville Center for Health & Rehabilitation, Danville, KY. Born February 12,1938, in Washington County to the late Winnie and the late Tressie (Mattingly) Darland. She retired from Modine Manufacturing and was a member of the Bohon Church of Christ. Louella is survived by: one granddaughter, Savannah Coker; one sister, Evalon D. Gillis of Harrodsburg; thirteen nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Dallas Coker, two brothers, Randell and Leon Darland, and a sister, Dollie Gayle Darland. Visitation will be from 10 am - 2 pm Tuesday; January 28 at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers will be: Anthony Moore, Aaron Moore, Brandon Coslow, Hunter Bush and Randy Darland. Honorary Bearers will be: Mark Moore, Denny Coslow, Gary Lee Darland and Kevin Darland. Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Frank Preston and Mark King. Burial will follow in the Battle Cemetery, Springfield. The family request memorial donations be sent to Alzheimer's Association Greater Kentucky, 6100 Dutchmans Lane, Suite 401, Louisville, KY 40205.
