Obituary of Morris Durr

Morris Durr, 95, Harrodsburg, KY, died Friday, January 24, 2020, at the Danville Ctr. For Health, Danville. Born July 5, 1924, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late George L. and Cordia (Claunch) Durr. He was a retired Corning Glass employee and was a US Army Veteran of World War II.
Survivors include: one daughter, Patricia Bramblet of Grovetown, GA; one son, Lynn Dale Durr of Harrodsburg; two sisters, Beatrice Gritton and Melvina Cheatham, both of Harrodsburg; a daughter in law, Elaine Durrr; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Morris Durr, and several siblings.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Wed., at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Nelson Reynolds. Burial with military honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until the time of service, Wednesday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Brad Burchett, Greg Mason, Terry Carey and Jason, Daryl & Ronnie Claunch.
