VEmily Joyce Steel, 76, widow of Willard Steele, died Thursday, January 30, 2020, at her home. Born August 25, 1943, in Fayette Co., she was the daughter of the late John Thomas and Monnie (Bullock) Preston. Joyce was a member of the Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Marlena S. Spencer and Betty Lewis, both of Nicholasville; one son, Ronald Stinnett of Nicholasville; three brothers, Charles, Tommy & Jimmy Preston, all of Nicholasville; five grandchildren, Kaylee Conley, Austin Murphy, Abagail Sexton, and Angela & Jessica Stinnett.
Funeral services will be Mon., Feb. 3, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Monday at Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Ronnie Stinnett, David & Jacob Willoughby, Orvil Holman and Erik Canter.
