Obituary of Margaret Adkinson

Margaret M. Adkinson, 85, Harrodsburg, widow of William Thomas Adkinson, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020, in Danville. Born February 22, 1934, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late Hugh Murphy and the late Mary (Collier) Davis. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Rita (Larry) Inman and Sherri (Rex) Kidd, both of Harrodsburg; one son, Gary (Robbie) Adkinson of Danville; one sister, Barbara Kinkaid of Lexington; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Murphy and Charles Davis. Funeral services will be 1 PM Sat., Feb. 15, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Don Reed. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the hour of service Saturday, Ransdell's. Pallbearers are: Brian Inman, Shawn Adkinson, Brandon Kidd, Logan, Ethan, & Kris Scott. Honorary bearers are: Crystal Scott, Lyndsey Inman, Aubri Scott, Sherri Parker and Emily Shell Adkinson.
