SUSAN YOUNG
Susan Young, age 57, West Mill Street, Burgin, widow of J.B. Young, II, died Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville after an illness.
Born August 31, 1947 in Saline, Michigan, she was the daughter James Henry and Hazel DeFeet Helm, Burgin. She was an accountant for Robinson, Hughes, and Christopher CPAs in Danville for twenty years, was on the Central Kentucky Christian School Board, a member of the Village Homemakers Club, the Wilderness Trace Quilt Guild, and a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church in Springfield.
Survivors in addition to her father and mother include: two sons, J.B. Young, III, Burgin and Clint and his wife (Sherry) Young, Harrodsburg; three brothers, James Henry Helm, Jr., Richmond, John Robert Helm, Harrodsburg, and Roger Dean Helm, Lexington; two grandchildren, six nephews, two nieces, and two great nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, September 30th at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bobby Estes, John Watts, and Daniel Wilson. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Perryville.
Pallbearers are: J.H. Helm, Jr., John R. Helm, Roger D. Helm, Billy Joe Young, Justin Young, and Chad Hardin.
Visitation will be from 5 until 9 pm Wednesday and after 7:30 am Thursday at the chapel.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Central Kentucky School, 1501 Danville Road, Harrodsburg or to the Beech Grove Baptist Church, Perryville Road, Springfield.
