William Burks Collins, 86, Harrodsburg, husband of Brenda Faye Blankenship Collins, died Thursday, March 12, 2020, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born November 2, 1933, in Jefferson County, he was the son of the late William E. and Sadie (Burks) Collins. Bill was an ordained minister, a retired salesman and Mercer Co. School Bus Driver, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Other survivors include: two daughters, Kim Marie Hartlauf of IN and Michelle Collins; two sons, William Timothy Collins of Louisville, and William (Elizabeth) King of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Collins. Funeral services 11 AM Tues., March 17, 2020, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Paul Gibson and Eddie Russell. Visitation 5-8 PM Mon., Ransdell's. Burial will be 2 PM CT on Tues. at the Mt. Union Methodist Cemetery, Scottsville, KY. Honorary pallbearers will be HBC Welcome-Glad Hand SS Class.
