Obituary of Clifford Ray Hamner

Clifford Ray Hamner, 75, husband of Effie McQueary Hamner, died Tuesday at his home in Lancaster, KY. Born July 3, 1944, in Cuyahoga County, OH, he was the son of the late James Herbert and the late Ima Lee (Galliher) Hamner. He was a Farmer, and served in the Unites States Army and the Army National Guard for over seventeen years. Clifford is survived by: his wife: Effie McQueary Hamner, one daughter: Dorothy Alice (Chris) Wethington of Junction City and two sons: Daniel Ray Hamner of Nicholasville, KY and Andrew Allen Hamner of Lancaster, one sister: Elizabeth Kay (Phil) Ward of OH, three brothers, Delbert Lee, Eugene Thomas, and Allan Dale Hamner of Lancaster, KY; three grandchildren: Wyatt Daniel Hamner, Luke Wethington and Ashley Wethington. Clifford was preceded in death by two brothers, James & Lewis Hamner. Visitation will be 5-7 PM Friday; June 19 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Brian Hamner, Scott Hamner, Scott Beedy, Chris Wethington, Morris Schlenker and David Schlenker. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Casey McClure. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
