Earl F. Camic, 69, Harrodsburg, husband of Roxie Carol Stratton Camic, died Sunday, June 21, 2020, at his home. Born December 19, 1950, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Speed and Fern (Murphy) Camic. He was a retired Electrical Engineer, founder and partner of Control Solutions, a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War, member and deacon of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church. Earl was also a member of the Mercer Camp of Gideons International, and was an avid golfer and loved to read. Survivors other than his wife include: one daughter, Sara (Joe) Whitley of Knoxville, TN; one son, Matthew Cory (Laura) Camic of Lexington; three sisters, Pat Hayden and Marie (Norman) Hahn, both of Harrodsburg, and Betty (Eugene) Richmond of Ft. Myers, FL; two brothers, Larry (Billie) Camic and George (Denise) Camic, both of Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, Dane Weston Camic, Quinn Ellen Camic, Anna Carol Whitley, Ella Ruth Whitley, and Levi Timothy Whitley. He was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny B. Camic. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wed., June 24, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bob White and Schylar Fields. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Tuesday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers are Larry & George Camic, Larry Inman, James Moeller, Jim Graham, Larry Royalty, David Wade, Jim Robinson, Cory Camic and Joe Whitley. Honorary bearers are Deacons of Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church and members of the Mercer Camp of Gideons International.
