William Cecil "Buddy" Harris, 73, Harrodsburg, widower of Linda Shepard Harris, died Monday, June 22, 2020, at his home. Born June 15, 1947, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Nelson Harris and the late Helen (Messer) Harris Lunsford. He was a retired Quality Control Specialist at Osram Sylvania and was a member of the Bohon Road Baptist Church. Survivors include: two daughters, Sharon Lynn (Richard) Preston of Harrodsburg, and Kimberly Ann (Tom) Reed of Harrodsburg, and one son: William Lee (Sheila) Harris of Danville, KY; one brother: David Lunsford of Harrodsburg, KY; he also has one grandchild, one great-grandchild. Grandchildren, Eight; Great Grandchildren, Thirteen. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thur., June 25, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Mark Williams. Burial will follow in Shawnee Run Baptist Church Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 12 noon - 2 PM Thursday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel. Pallbearers: Brandon Goins, Thomas Reed, Justin Reed, William Harris, Stephen Hughes, Roger Lyons, Chris Preston, Michael Ryan, and David Lunsford.
