Michael L. Votaw, 62, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Debbie Warfield Votaw, died Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born February 18, 1958, in Mercer County, he was the son of Bessie Smith Votaw and the late Hershel Votaw. He was a retired machine operator for Wausau Paper and was a charter member of The Carpenter's Christian Church. Survivors other than his wife and mother: two daughters, Jayden Seward of Harrodsburg and Kara (Aaron) Roessler of West Palm Beach, FL; and two sons, Christopher (Rhonda) Seward of Lexington, KY and Matthew (Jaye) Seward of Nicholasville, KY; one brother, Larry (Lisa) Votaw of Harrodsburg; six grandchildren; Nephew, Chris(Kari) Votaw, Aunt, Ann Huffman and Cousin, Keith Huffman. Funeral services Monday, July 6, 2020 at 3pm, Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Greg Warren and John Kesel. Visitation will be 12-3pm Monday, Ransdell's, Harrodsburg. Burial will be at a later date in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg Pallbearers: Chris Seward, Aaron Roessler, Chris Votaw, Rick Wilson, Rodney Walls and Hobert Proctor. Honorary bearers: Ron & Kim Cutler, Sandy Rogers, Beth Neal, Melinda Kestler, Glen & Ruthie Waters, Sylvia Hayslett, Orlene McEachern, Pat Goodlett. Memorials are suggested to: The Carpenter's Christian Church Building Fund, 1340 US-127 Bypass, Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
