Helen McMichael McElfresh, 87, Harrodsburg, widow of Leroy, died Sunday, July 5, 2020, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab, Harrodsburg. Born August 27, 1932, in Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Gladys (Washburn) McMichael. She was a retired Modine Employee and was a member of the Junction City Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Nancy (Roy) Hurst of Harrodsburg; one sister, Lucille Slusher of IN; one brother, Arthur (Janet) McMichael of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren,Jamie (Courtney) Tatum, Bobbie Steinhauer, and Crystal (Michael) Logue; ten great grandchildren, Michael, Adam, & Lauren Steinhauer, Kala Johnson, Tyler, & Chase Logue, Tanner Clark, MacKenzie Byrd, Jamison Tatum, and Megan Doan; five great great grandchildren, Ellie Logue, Paisley Johnson, Gabbie & Gabe Byrd, Easton Doan. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Podmore and Thelma McMichael. Funeral services 1 PM, Wed., July 8, 2020, at the Ransdell Fuenral Chapel by Joshua Stine. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11 AM, Wednesday, Ransdell's. Pallbearers: Chase Logue, Gary Tatum, Michael & Tyler Logue and Michael & Adam Steinhauer. Memorials are suggested to: Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
