Howard Richard Lane, 91, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Pauline Grimes, died Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville, KY. Born Aug. 8, 1929, in Lebanon, KY, he was the son of the late George and the late Mattie (Phillips) Lane. He was a retired farmer and was a Baptist. Survivors include: three daughters, Jennifer Gail Mason of Louisville, Rita Graham of Perryville, and Cathy Worthington of Harrodsburg; one sister, Hildred Goodlett of Harrodsburg; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Howard was preceded in death by his three sons, Phillip Lane, William Lane, and Richard Lane, one daughter, Susan Clarkson, one brother, Charles Edward Lane, four sisters, Evelyn Railey, Mary Goodlett, Betty Baugh, and Madelyn Giles. Visitation will be Monday from 11AM - 1PM at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Andy Michaels. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to American Cancer Society (Relay for Life).
