Obituary of Nina Mallory

Nina Mallory, 84, Danville, KY, wife of Gene Mallory, died Saturday, August 22, 2020, at the Parkview Manor ALC, Danville. Born October 6, 1935, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Eldred E. and Olive (Lester) Nichols. She was a retired teacher for the Boyle Co. School District, having attended Campbellsville College and receiving her Bachelor's Degree from the Univ. of Kentucky.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Gina Mallory of Louisville, KY; two sons, Alan (Rita) Mallory of IN and Troy Mallory of Danville; one sister, Karen Hayner of NC; three brothers, Lynn (Ann) Nichols, Nolan (Lynda) Nichols, and Earl Kent (Linda) Nichols, all of Harrodsburg; four grandchildren, Sarah, T.J., Neccolus, and Adam (Katrina) Mallory; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mona Mallory.
Graveside services will be held 1 PM, Thurs., at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 11 AM Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of one's choice.
