David Lauren Perrin, 87, Harrodsburg, widower of Reva June Center Perrin, died Saturday at the The Willows - Harrodsburg. Born August 9, 1933, in Boyd, KY, he was the son of the late Gilbert L. and Nancy H. (Lang) Perrin. He was a Lt. Colonel (Ret) in the US Air Force and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. David also had worked at Matthews Conveyer, Danville, was a member and Elder at Mt. Pleasant Church, and had been a member of the Lion's Club. Survivors include: two daughters, Vivian (Randy) Horn and Cynthia (Curt) Ransdell, both of Harrodsburg; one son, Keith (Gail) Perrin of Harrodsburg; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren. David was preceded in death by two brothers, James T. Perrin and Glenn Perrin, three sisters, Ruth Townsend, Bess Bush, and Georgia Plog. Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Saturday, August, 29, 2020, at the Mt. Pleasant Church by Derek Baker, Roland Tarter, Ricky Catlett. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service at the church. Pallbearers will be: Wayne, Justin, & Chris Horn, David Curtis & Darren Ransdell, Heather Dugger, Lora Shotts, Hillary Cheek, Kimberly Jones, Allyson Bentley, and David Warren. Honorary bearers are Christy & Hope Ransdell, Carissa Horn, Matt Dugger, Aaron Shotts, Jay Cheek, Chrys Jones, Ben Bentley.
