Norma Estelle Shackelford, 84, Harrodsburg, widow of Kenneth D. Shackelford, died Saturday at the Signature Health Care, Harrodsburg. Born Feb. 8, 1936, in Mercer Co., she was the daughter of the late George H. and Kathleen (Jones) Dean. Norma was a retired Bus Driver for Mercer Co. School System, was a former 4-H Leader, and was a member of the Bruner's Chapel Baptist Church and Salvisa Ruritan Club. Survivors include: one daughter, Phyllis Mobley of TN; two sons, Stanley (Sharon) Shackelford of Harrodsburg, and Kenny (Shelly) Shackelford of Salvisa; eleven grandchildren; several great and great great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Norma was preceded in death by a grandchild, Michael Shackelford, two sisters, Dorothy Coomer and Frances Cornelius. Funeral services 2 PM, Wed., Sept 16, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Schylar Fields. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation 11 AM, Wed., Ransdell's. Pallbearers will be: Wesley & Chad Gilvin, Nick & Jacob Shackelford, Tyler Austin, Holly Moore, Amanda Agee, and Stefanie Mason. Honorary bearers are grandchildren and great grandchildren.
