Obituary of Ron Bradford

Ronald William Bradford, 80, Harrodsburg, died Sunday, September 20, 2020, at the Patriot Place Community Living Center, V. A. Hospice Center, Lexington. Born April 11, 1940, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Dorsey Bradford and the late Nellie Clark Bradford VanMeter. Ron was a retired Kentucky State Trooper, a Baptist, a member of the Masonic Lodge 777 F&AM, a US Navy Veteran, and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed singing, reading and fishing.
Survivors include: two sons, Chris (Missy) Bradford of Harrodsburg, and Michael Bradford, Danville; one brother, Mark Bradford of Louisville; three grandchildren & one step grandchild; special friend, Carolyn Lamkin. He was preceded in death by a sister, Landa Tackett.
Funeral services 1 PM, Thur., Sept 24, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Johnny Hockersmith. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Wednesday, Ransdell's, with Masonic Rites at 7:30 PM.
Pallbearers: Andrew Bradford, Travis Bradford, Joshua Mullins, Sonny Thompson, Glenn Logue and Jeff Noel.
Memorials are suggested to: Wounded Warriors, Toy's For Tots or St. Jude's.
