Bobby Allen Perkins, 88, Salvisa, widower of Dorothy Tingle Perkins, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020, at the Harrodsburg Health & Rehab. Center. Born November 15, 1931, in Washington County, he was the son of the late Ed Perkins and the late Myrtle Armstrong. He was a retired shipping clerk for Hallmack Inc. and Createc Corp., and was a US Army Veteran. Bobby was also a member of the Mt. Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors include: five daughters, Nancy (Steve) Ransdell of Salvisa, Sharon Britton of Harrodsburg, Teresa (Terry) Yates of Harrodsburg, Peggy (Ronnie) Dean of Springfield, and Melinda Moungey of Harrodsburg; twelve grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Allen and Bobby Glen Perkins, two sisters, Donohar Young Royalty and Dorothy Emerson, and a half brother, J. L. Hanby. Serrvices 2 PM Friday, Sept. 25, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John McDaniel. Burial will follow at the Willisburg Cemetery. Visit. Will be 12 PM until 2 PM, Firday, Ransdell's. Pallbearers: Brian Sallee, Brent Dean, Will Farthing, Randy Robinson, Tom Gullion, Jason Gaddis, Corey Gullett and Dylan McGinnis.
