Wanda M. Long, 96, Harrodsburg, KY, widow of Leo Long, died Thursday at The Willows of Harrodsburg. She was born June 11, 1924, in Gas City, IN, to the late Burdette and the late Geneva (Norman) Marshbanks. Wanda was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and worked as a Clerk for Model Laundry, and was an employee of Kentucky Souvenirs for several years. She is survived by: one daughter: Brenda Noe of Lancaster, KY and one son: Roy (Janet) Long of Hodgenville, KY, two grandchildren, Jennifer Long and Ryan Long; one great grandchild, Ashley Long. Wanda was preceded in death by a grandson, Darren Long, and three sisters, Kathleen Preston, Edna Mae Marshbanks and Helen Marshbanks, and two brothers, Gilbert & Robert Marshbanks. Visitation will be 11 am - 1 pm Monday, October 5, 2020, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Marvin Marshbanks, Jerry Preston, Steve Hayden, Tommy Hayden, Bobby Allen Long and Donnie Bailey. Funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lynn Releford. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. The family request memorial donations be sent to: Central Ky Cancer Program, 217 S. Third Street, Danville, KY 40422 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl., Memphis TN 38105-9959.
