James Edward Patterson, 80, Harrodsburg, KY, died Thursday, October 8, 2020, at the Willows - Harrodsburg. Born June 30, 1940, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late David Houston Patterson Sr. and Vera Mae (Kurtz) Patterson, Harrodbsurg. He was a US Army veteran, a retired Industrial Electrician for Rockwell Company, and enjoyed woodworking. Survivors other than his mother include: one sister, Patricia (Garnett) Clark of Cecilia, KY; a sister-in-law, Pat Patterson, Harrodsburg; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Houston Patterson, Jr. Funeral services will 1 PM, Tues., Oct. 20, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by John David Lane. Burial with military honors will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will be 11 AM - 1 PM, Tuesday, Ransdell's. Pallbearers are: David S. Patterson, Dwayne & Ronald Clark, Jimmy Joe Drakeford, Joe, Dustin & Josh Wilson, Tyler Horn, Austin Elliott, Cory & Brandon Benavides, and Kevin Clark.
