Dorothy Denny Scott, 94, Harrodsburg, KY, died Wednesday, October 14, 2020, at the Morning Point, Lexington. Born September 12, 1926, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Noland and Virginia Belle (Freeman) Denny. She was a member of the Burgin Baptist Church, and was a volunteer and former board member of the Christian Life Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Gail Bailey of Harrodsburg; one son, Isaac Scott of Lexington; five grandchildren, Crystal Nichols, Dee Dee Bailey, Aaron Bailey, Stephanie Anness, and Adina Bailey; three great grandchildren.
Funeral services 11 AM, Sat., Oct. 17, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by David Woodward. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 5 - 8 PM Friday, Ransdell's.
Pallbearers: Brett Anness, Art Freeman, Bill Freeman, Aaron Bailey and Alez Perez Cruz.
