Larry Ray Taylor, 70, Harrodsburg, husband of Jane Freeman Taylor, died Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Born December 22, 1949, in Mercer Co., he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lula (Norton) Taylor. Larry was a retired Supervisor and Quality Control Engineer for Signet Systems, was a member of the Joseph Chapel United Methodist Church and was a Gideon.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Kristi Louise (Keith) Claunch of Harrodsburg; one son, Lawrence Ray (Stephanie) Taylor of Harrodsburg; one sister, Jackie (Fred) Hilbert of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Doug (Jackie) Taylor of Harrodsburg and William Taylor of Versailles; four grandchildren, Zachary Taylor, Allyson Taylor, Chelsea Teachey, and Mason Teachey; one great grandchild, Riley Matthew Baker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bessie Peach Taylor.
Funeral services 2 PM, Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Dean Carpenter, Lynn Releford, and Josiah Stuhmer. Visitation will be 11 AM -2 PM Friday at Ransdell's.
Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund.
