RUSSELL CARRIER
Russell Carrier, age 85, McClellan Drive, Harrodsburg, widower of Edith Carrier, died Monday, November 8, 2004 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born June 4, 1919 in Washington County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Robert and Molly Coslow Carrier. He was a retired Kentucky State Highway Department employee, a US Army veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV, the V.F.W. and a member of the Unity Baptist Church in Washington County.
Survivors include one son: Glen Michael Carrier, Harrodsburg; one daughter, Patricia Brown, Harrodsburg; three sisters, Mary Roberts, Lettie Smith, and Beulah Smith, all of Harrodsburg, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, November 11th at the Unity Baptist Church, 2482 Mackville Road, Washington County by Brent Thornton and Brandon Carrier. Burial will be in the Peters Cemetery at Mackville with military rites.
Visitation will be after 5:00 pm Wednesday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel and after 10:00 am Thursday until the hour of service at the Church.
