Obituary of Cathy L Worthington

Cathy L. Worthington, 63, Harrodsburg, KY, wife of Mike Worthington, died Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born September 11, 1957, in Versailles, KY, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Helen Mae Robinson Phillips. She was a Mobile Librarian for The Book Mobile of Mercer County for 16 years and was a member at Immanuel Baptist Church. Cathy is survived by: her husband: Mike Worthington, one daughter: Wendy (Shawn) Leach of Harrodsburg; two sons: Christopher (Glenna) Worthington of Harrodsburg and Chad (Jessica) Worthington of Harrodsburg. Two sisters: Rita Graham of Perryville and Jennifer (Andy) Mason of Bardstown. One brother: Ivan Phillips of Burgin. Grandchildren: Kenzie (William) Myers; Brooke (Branden) Hooper; Taylor (Logan) Bustle; Bronson McGinnis; Carissa Worthington; Emily Worthington; Noah Worthington and Kendall Worthington; several Nieces & Nephews. 7 great grandchildren. Cathy was preceded in death by her Brothers: Phillip Lane, James William Phillips, William Howard "Peanut" Lane, Richard Lee Lane, and a Sister, Susie Clarkson. Private visitation will be Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 11am-1pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers will be: Bronson McGinnis, Noah Worthington, Branden Hooper, William Myers, Logan Bustle, Larry Curtis, Dan Terry and Derek Lane. Private funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Bro. Harold Best and Andy Mikels. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
