Bill Cooper, 87, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Ella Marie (Cornelius) Cooper, died Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at his home. Born March 10, 1933, in Elk Valley, TN, he was the son of the late Fred and Martha Ellen (Perkins) Cooper. He was a retired Tire Recapper for Harrodsburg Wholesale Tire, was a US Army Veteran, and was a member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church. Other survivors include: two daughters, Reeda (Tom) Hewlett of Frankfort, and Pamela Burton of Venice, FL; two sons Doug Cooper, Murray, KY, and Steven (Donna) Yeager, both of Harrodsburg; five sisters, Betty Stratton of Harrodsburg, Alberta Sims of Lexington, Louise Truesdale of Dayton, Jeannette Adams and Marie Devine, both of Harrodsburg; one brother, Donald Cooper of Lawrenceburg; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Noah Wilson Burton. Private funeral services will be held at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Tom Hewlett and Larry Camic. Private burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg. Memorials are suggested to: Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213, Danville, KY 40422 .
