Obituary of Sally Woods Henry

Sally Woods Henry, 96, Harrodsburg, widow of John E. Henry, died Sunday, December 13, 2020, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.
Born September 12, 1924, in Garrard County, she was the daughter of the late James Rice and Minnie (Thompson) Woods. She was a graduate of Nazareth School of Nursing and was a retired Registered Nurse. Sally had worked for James B. Haggin Hospital, Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, and the Mercer Co. Health Department. She had been a volunteer for the Red Cross Blood Bank and the James B. Haggin Auxiliary. She served on the Red Cross Board and the Mercer Co. Health Board, was a former member of the D.A.R., and was a member of the Harrodsburg Christian Church.
Survivors include: two daughters, Patricia (Bill) Ring of Lewes, DE and Geri (Grif) Cason of Harrodsburg; three grandchildren, Alexandra Cason, Ashley (Gerald Marku) Ring, and Johnny Ring; several nieces and nephews..
Graveside services will be 1 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the Spring Hill Cemetery Pavilion, Harrodsburg. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Mercer Co. Animal Shelter Adoption Program, 896 Moberly Rd., Harrodsburg, KY 40330.
