Juanita Kelly, 90, Harrodsburg, widow of Walter Charles "Bud" Kelly, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at her home. Born April 29, 1930, in Jessamine Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late Beckham and Viola (Shields) Buffin. She was a retired seamstress for Cricketeer Mfg. and Joseph Feiss and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Junita enjoyed sewing, quilting, caring for her lawn and sitting in the sun. Survivors include: two daughters, Karen Dean and Debra Brammer, both of Mercer Co.; two sons, Maurice Kelly of Junction City, and Daryl Kelly of Anderson Co.; eight grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Buffin, Salvisa; one sister, Reba Young, Lexington. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Elwood and Ken Buffin, and Faye Covington. Graveside services will be 1 PM, Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, at Burgin Memorial Garden by Larry Curtis. Visitation will be 11 AM - 1 PM Monday at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg. Pallbearers: Chris Worthington, Jimmy Yeager, Matt Yeager, David Yeager, Justin Kelly, Caleb Kelly, Wendy Leach, and Megan Kelly. Honorary bearers: great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. Memorials are suggested to: Ruby Dunn Senior Citizens Center, 1475 Louisville Road, Harrodsburg, KY 40330, or Cathy's Cupboard Food Pantry C/O Immanuel Baptist Church, 1280 Faulkner Ln, Danville, KY 40422.
