William Melvin Storey, 85, Harrodsburg, KY, husband of Carolyn Faye Roundtree Storey, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. Born February 16, 1935, in Nicholas County, KY, he was the son of the late Donald and the late Ethel (Lawrence) Storey. William served in the Navy from 8/18/53 to 8/16/57. He was a retired manager for IBM Inc. and a member of the New Providence Presbyterian.
Survivors other than his wife: Two sisters: Sue Severt of Naples, FL and Sandy Tribble of Lexington, KY. Several Nieces & Nephews. William was preceded in death by his Son, Marvin Lee Storey, a brother, Bud Storey, and sisters, Juanita Noel and Helen Hopkins.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 7, 2021 at 11 am at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by James Byrd, burial will follow at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, with military honors.. Visitation at the chapel after 9:00 am, Thursday.
