Robert Lee Shewmaker, 95, Salvisa, KY, husband of Dora Manuel "Dodie" Shewmaker, died Monday at his home. Born September 24, 1925, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Cletus and the late Annie (Fallis) Shewmaker. Robert was a farmer and truck driver.
Robert is survived by: his wife: Dottie Shewmaker and one son: Ronald Shewmaker of Salvisa, KY, six grandchildren, Teresa (Scott) Parrish, John (Tonja) Knight, Cindi (Lewis) Blevins, Bo (Jessica) Shewmaker, Zack (Stacy) Shewmaker, Stephanie (Shane) Franklin; seventeen great grandchildren, Cade, Coby, Haley, Heather, Jyme, Timothy, Caitlin, Shawn, Gemma, Lucia, Heath Payton, Kora, Hunter, Jacob, Lexi, Hayden & Ella. Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Shewmaker Jr., and a daughter, Linda Cushion.
Visitation will be Monday; January 11 from 11 am - 1 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
Pallbearers will be: Zack Shewmaker, Bo Shewmaker, Hayden Gifford, Heath Shewmaker, Cade Cleveland and Coby Cleveland.
Funeral service will be Monday at 1:00 pm at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Jonathan Jones. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg.
