Don Stiglich, 77, of Harrodsburg, passed Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. Born November 3, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois and raised by his grandparents in Cornishville, Kentucky. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and attended Hebron Baptist Church. For 33 years Don retired as a conductor for Norfolk Southern Railroad. He was an avid reader and gardener; he also enjoyed fishing and playing rook. Over the last several years, he attended local country music jamborees. Don is survived by one daughter: Malissa (David) Thompson, and one son: Dennis (Pam) Stiglich, five grandchildren, Mason Ezra Thompson, Julia Katherine Stiglich, Kennedy Paige Thompson, Cameron Jacob Stiglich, and Avery Brooke Thompson and fiancé Linda Joyce Watts; and preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Royalty Stiglich. Visitation will be held January 15th at Ransdell’s Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY from 11:00-2:00 pm. Celebration of life will immediately follow, officiated by Brother George Dye and Doug Wesley.
