Obituary of Shirley Bernice Beatty

Shirley Bernice Beatty, 73, Danville, KY, wife of Donald Wayne Beatty, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born November 30, 1947, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Albert Kenneth and Rosa Mae (Miller) Pittman. Shirley was a retired Certified Nursing Assistant at Charleston Health Care Center in Danville, had worked at the Ruby Dunn Senior Citizens Center, and attended Bob Salazar Ministries. She is survived by: two daughters: Pamela Mae Hardy of Harrodsburg, KY and Peggy Sue Duvall of Waynesburg, KY, and two sons: Tommy Lee Elliott of Metcalf, IL and Justin Thomas Beatty of Danville, KY, two sisters: Charlotte Rose Salazar of Harrodsburg, KY and Effie Pittman of Stanford, KY, and one brother: Thomas A. Pittman of Casey Co., KY and Several grand & great grandchildren. Shirley was preceded in death by three sons; Silas Wayne Haggard, Kenneth Edwin Haggard and Keith Allen Haggard. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday; January 25, 2021 at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Terry Morrison. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens, Danville, KY. Visitation will be 9:30 - 11 am Monday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Matthew Keith Haggard, Bob Salazar, Daniel Wayne Yocum, Robby Hardy, Zackery Elliott, Mario Diandre Rico and Christopher Wayne Haggard.
