Garnett Lewis Ruble, 87, Harrodsburg, KY, widower of Mary K. Sutton Ruble, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born September 21, 1933, in Anderson Co., KY, he was the son of the late Elbert and Drucilla (Brown) Ruble. Mr. Ruble was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean war, a retired USPS mail carrier, and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three step daughters, Rosemary (Eddie) Lay of Cumming, GA, Jeanlynn (Mark) Daris of Merrick, NY and Rebecca Nahat of St. Petersburg, F; two brothers, Hollis ( (Dallas) Ruble of Taylorsville, KY and Hugh (Linda) Ruble of Louisville, KY.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Thurs., Feb. 4, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Daniel Smith. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Visitation will be 11 AM until 2 PM, Thursday, Ransdell Funeral Chapel.
Members of Calvary Baptist Church Adult Men's Sunday School Class will serve as pallbearers.
