Obituary of Norma Hazelwood

Norma Jean Hazelwood, 83, Salvisa, KY, widow of Charles K. Hazelwood, died Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born August 16, 1937, in Mercer Co., , she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Genevia (Stratton) Parker. Norma had worked as a meat packager at Hockersmith Meat Processing and had been a cook at Family Affair Restaurant and Catering.
Survivors include: one daughter, Elizabeth H. Keller of Harrodsburg; two sons, Charles (Beth) Hazelwood of Salvisa, and Anthony (Cathy) Hazelwood of Harrodsburg; one sister, Arlene Cottrell of Lawrenceburg; one brother, Carter Cox of Salvisa; six grandchildren, Cretia Lewis, Chastity Marshall, Trenton & Mason Hazelwood, Nicky Keller, and Emily Ellis; five great grandchildren.
Funeral services 2 PM, Monday, Feb. 1, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Derek Baker. Burial will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will be 11 AM until 2 PM, Monday, Ransdell's.
Memorials are suggested to: Kirkwood Cemetery Fund.
