Obituary of Patsy A. Steele

Patsy A. Steele, 84, Harrodsburg, KY, died Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born November 25, 1936, in Mercer County , she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mae (Mattingly) Anderson. Patsy worked for the Mercer Dress Company, was a bus monitor for the Harrodsburg School systems and was a CNA at Harrodsburg Health Care. She was also a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church, a KY Colonel and member of the Mercer County Democratic Women's Club. Survivors include: The daughters: Kathy (B.R.) Chilton of Salvisa, Pamela (Terry) Maddox of Burgin, Mona Gail (Tom) Curtsinger, Janet Steele, and Alexa (Bob) Drury of Harrodsburg; one sister: Brenda Semones of Harrodsburg; thirteen grand children; twenty-one great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews. Patsy was preceded in death by siblings; Ralph "Pete" Anderson, Mary Louise Cox, Dorothy Monroe and Betty Speaks. Funeral services will be conducted 2 pm Tuesday; February 9, 2021 by Lynn Releford and Daryl Catlett. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers: Larry Cox, John Todd Drury, Jason Drury, Shawn Curtsinger, A.J. Curtsinger and B.R. Chilton. Her Great Grandchildren andr to serve as Honorary Bearers.
