VIRGIE WATTS PEAVLER Virgie Watts Peavler, age 75, Tabler Avenue, wife of William Peavler, died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at her home after a long illness. Born November 26, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late T.R. and Easter Patrick Watts. She was a cook at Stone Manor Restaurant for over 23 years and a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to her husband include five sons: Edward (Catfish) Peavler, Hubert (Pud) Peavler, Robert (Shorty) Peavler, David (Pee Wee) Peavler all of Harrodsburg, and Audrey Dale (Peck) Peavler, Lawrenceburg; one daughter, Geraldine Jones Vetters, Danville; three brothers, Leslie Watts, Walton, Kentucky, Billy Luther Watts, Harrodsburg, and David Watts, Lawrenceburg; two sisters, Mildred Lewis and Patricia Phillips, both of Harrodsburg; thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son John Willie Peavler, two brothers Joe and Allan Watts and one sister, Lucille Frances Murphy. Funeral services will be conducted 1:30 pm Sunday, November 21st at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Kenneth Meredith and Don Burton. Burial will be in the Peter’s Cemetery at Mackville, Kentucky. Pallbearers are: Lesley Watts, Jr., Kevin Watts, Alvin Rose Watts, William Luther Watts, Jr., Lawrence Watts, and Keith Watts. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Saturday and prior to the service on Sunday at the chapel. Memorial contributions are suggested to Heritage Hospice, Post Office Box 1213, Danville, Kentucky 40423.
