Roy Gordon Scott, 66, Salvisa, KY, husband of Kathy Cinnamon Scott, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born October 10, 1954, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Roy Gordon and Annelle (Stocker) Scott. Gordon was a retired Hazardous Materials Inspector for the KY State Fire Marshall, member of the Harrodsburg Baptist Church, active member of the NRA, and had served in the KY National Guard for several years. Other survivors include: one sister, Patricia (Eddie) Mayes of Danville, KY. He was affectionately know as Uncle DoDo to his nephews. Funeral services will be 2 PM, Friday, Feb. 12, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Chad Mayes. Burial will follow in Kirkwood Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will be 11 AM until 2 PM, Friday, at Ransdell's. Pallbearers are: Norris, Ridge, & Rob Yeast, Jake Mayes, Wayne Cinnamon, and Ralph Anderson. Honorary bearers are: Corey & Clay Robertson, Tim & Amy White, Briggs & Beth Cunningham and Randy & Rhonda Thompson. Memorials are suggested to: Kirkwood Baptist Cemetery Fund.
