Margaret Carolyn Browning, 90, Harrodsburg, widow of James Lewis Browning, died Sunday, February 7, 2021, at the Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Respiratory Care Center, Brodhead, KY.
Born January 17, 1931, in Mercer County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert A. and Rosa (Pulliam) Carey. Carolyn was a retired Administrative Assistant for Whitenack - Souder (Davenport, Robinson, & Whitenack) Insurance Co., and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church. She loved working in her yard - mowing grass and pulling weeds.
Survivors include: one daughter, Rosa Ann Browning of Harrodsburg; one son, Robert Bruce (Sharon) Browning of Harrodsburg; one niece, Rosie Carey of Lexington; two great nieces; one great great niece; two great great nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel and Morris Carey.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Sat., Feb. 13, 2021, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Father J R Hadnagy and Deacon Bruce Browning. Visitation will be 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, St. Andrew. A private family burial will be held later.
