Stephen M. Crane, 76, Salvisa, KY, husband of Wanda Whittaker Crane, died Friday, February 12, 2021, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville. Born March 14, 1944, in Evansville, IN, he was the son of the late James and Rose Marie (Lamb) Crane. He was a retired Shawnee Farm employee and was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Sharon (Mike Roberts) Crane; eight siblings, Mary Anne Laluk, Kathy (Richard) Cheng, Dave (Marlene) Crane, Pat (Gayle) Crane, Jerry (Barb) Crane, Bill (Cathy) Crane and Paul (Blanca) Crane, all of British Columbia, Canada, and Bob (Phyllis) Crane, Lawrenceburg, KY; one granddaughter, Hannah (Cody Gowins) Crane; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, John (Bonnie) Crane.
Funeral services 2 PM, Tues., Feb. 16, 2021, at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, by Fr. Anthony McLaughlin. A private burial will follow later in the Spring Hill Cemetery, Harrodsburg, KY.
