Obituary of Billy Cheek

BILLY CHEEK Billy Cheek, age 30, 2541 Maywood Road, Stanford, husband of Christy Joann Carter Cheek, died Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington after an illness. Born October 16, 1974 in Danville, he was the son of James and Sandra Kaye Hornsby Cheek, of Stanford, Kentucky. He was a farmer, a member of the Highland Area Station 8 Fire Department, and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors in addition to his wife and parents include: one son, Jacob Harlow; one daughter Karringan Harlow both of Stanford; three brothers James and Louis Cheek both of Florida, and Bobby (Tina) Cheek, Stanford; two sisters, Mary (Edward) Warmouth, and Joyce (Eddie) Padgett both of Stanford; four nephews, Chris and Cody Warmouth, Austin Cheek, and Zachary Combs. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Sunday, November 21st at the Hedgeville Baptist Church, Highway 52 – Lancaster Road, Danville by Rev. Lester Tirey. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Lincoln County. Pallbearers are Troy Gingrass, Troy Creg Gingrass, Danny Glass, Roger Pullum, Kyle Cupp, Chris Cross, and Billy Miller. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Sunday until the hour of service at the church. The Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg is in charge of arrangements.
