Hobert "Buddy", Riley 83, Salvisa, KY, died Saturday, February 20, 2021, at home. Born May 8, 1937, in Mercer County, he was the son of the late Seabert and Frances (Chesser) Riley. Buddy was the widower of Donna (Messex) Riley and was a retired Warehouse Forman for Austin Nichols Distilling Company.
Survivors include: three daughters: Debra Riley Massengill of Lawrenceburg, Devona (John) Norton of Salvisa, and Jennifer Riley Freeman, of Lawrenceburg and six sons: Walter (Debbie) Riley of Lawrenceburg, Hobert D. (Susie) Riley of Harrodsburg, Darryl Edward (Rebecca) Riley of Salvisa, Jeffrey (Brenda) Riley of Lawrenceburg, Timmy (Donna) Riley of Salvisa, and Terry (Hope) Riley of Salvisa ; one sister: Dolly Wade of FL; he also has Twenty grandchildren and Twenty-eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services 2:00 PM Wed, Feb. 24, at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by George Dye, burial will follow in Sand Spring Cemetery, Lawrenceburg, KY. Visitation will be 11 am - 2 pm Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY.
