Obituary of Cheryl Patterson

Cheryl D. Patterson, DMD, 63, Harrogate, TN, wife of David Shawn Patterson, died Sunday, February 28, 2021, at Baptist Health, Lexington, KY. Born December 24, 1957, in Richmond, IN, she was the daughter of Carol (Horner) Hatfield, Richmond, IN, and the late John Smith. Cheryl was a Univ. of Kentucky Alumnus, a Dentist, and was a member of St. Julian Catholic Church, the American Dental Assoc., and the Virginia Dental Association. Other survivors include: two daughters, Kaitlin Shawn (David Parry) Patterson and Amber Kristen Patterson, both of Lexington, KY; two sisters, Lorna Smith of West Lafayette, IN, & Diane Shake of Cambridge City, IN; three brothers, Mark (Kim) Smith of Terre Haute, IN, Matt (Amy) Smith of Richmond, IN and Dan (Sandy) Smith of Richmond, IN; a step sister, Tami Hatfield, Richmond, IN. Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday, March 5, 2021, at the St. Andrew Catholic Church by Fr. Peter Joseph and Fr. J. R. Hadnagy. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Cemetery, Salvisa, KY. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the hour of service Friday at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Harrodsburg, KY. Pallbearers are: Jim Drakeford, Cody Smith, Dustin Wilson, Parker Smith, Tyler Horn, & Braelen Twine.
