Webster L. “WEB” Wilson Web Wilson, 82, of Salvisa, died Sunday, November 21 at the Ephriam McDowell Regional Medical center in Danville KY. Mr. Wilson was born on November 11, 1922 in Lincoln County to Leeman and Pearl Trimble Wilson. He was the widower of Permelia “Pam” Fletcher Wilson. Web was retired from Southern Rail Road where he was in signal maintenance. He was also an Army Veteran of WWII where he received two Bronze Stars and a Silver Star. Mr. Wilson was a member of the Shakertown Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge in McKinney and the American Legion. Mr. Wilson is survived by: two sons; Larry & Janie Wilson of Lincoln County and David & Carol Wilson of Salvisa; a daughter; Dr. Rebecca & Terry Martin of Charenton, LA; three sisters: Christine Wilson and Alice Blanton both of Houstonville, and Frances McKee of Waynesburg; ten grandchildren: Scott, Alex, Seth and Cassidy Wilson, Dr. Lee Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Emily Barczak, Brandy Landry, Morgan and Lindsey Martin and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Leroy Wilson and a sister Gainel Wall. Services will be conducted by Rev. Joe Smith at the Ransdell Funeral Chapel, Harrodsburg, KY, Tuesday, November 23 at 11 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Kenneth Godby, Keith Kirkpatrick, Dr. Lee Simpson, Jeremy Simpson, Lee Horner, and Patrick Cobett. Honorary bearer will be Clyde Majors. Visitation will be on Monday, November 22, 5-8 PM and Tuesday after 7:30 am until the time of service. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Hospice P.O. Box 1213 Danville, KY 40423.
